LOL: Tesla Drivers Told Not To Charge Cars During Heatwave

Wow, just… wow. Joe Biden’s “Transportation Secretary” Pete Buttigieg is still running around telling people to just buy electric cars if they don’t like high gas prices. And at the same time, utility companies are asking electric car owners to not charge their vehicles this month, because it’s hot and the windmills that they’ve replaced reliable fossil fuels with have stopped spinning.

Texas has a lot of good things going for it, but their “green” electric grid is not one of them. Their windmills freeze up in the wintertime when they get a cold snap, and they stop spinning during the stultifying summer heat as well.

Since Texas has some of the largest recoverable oil reserves in the country, why is green energy even a thing there? It looks like Gov. Greg Abbott is too busy not sealing off the southern border to realize that his state’s power grid is collapsing because of unreliable wind power.

The painful reality of electric cars is always going to be that they need to be recharged. And to do that, you’re always going to need some type of coal or other fossil fuels in abundance.

  1. Keep trying to tell them that our power grid is not capable of taking care of all the needs of electricity.
And the jerk who said Abbott was not able to close the border. IT IS NOT ABBOTT’S JOB. THAT IS FEDERAL AND BIDEN IS NOT ALLOWING THE JOB TO BE DONE.
