Well, that’s it! Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) has Never-Trumped her way right out of her GOP leadership post. It’s not as if she has anyone to blame for this but herself.
House Republicans voted to give her the boot for failing to do the basic requirements of her job. All she had to do was stay on message, keep the party unified for the 2022 midterms and raise money – but she failed at all three of those.
She couldn’t stop screeching about Donald Trump. And because of that, she fractured the House GOP. Plus, that caused donor money to dry up. Would you cut a check if she called you up and started frothing at the mouth about Donald Trump? Neither would we.
It’s kind of hilarious in a way. All that Liz Cheney had to do to keep her job was just SHUT UP. There are plenty of spineless Republicans in Congress who hate America’s greatest President Donald Trump. But we never hear from them, because they’re smart enough to keep their mouths shut.
