Liberals Prove They Don’t Understand MLK’s Message

If you ask the average person what Martin Luther King stood for, they will usually be able to tell you that the reverend fought for social and political equality for blacks in America. They will rarely tell you how he wanted to go about actually doing it.

Since King’s famous “I have a dream” speech, the fight for civil rights has devolved from its original intent. Instead of judging people “based on the content of their character” — King’s exact words — Democrats consistently push for diversity quotas and other affirmative action programs.

This is exactly what you’re seeing here with this image, which attempts to suggest that House Speaker Paul Ryan is a racist because he doesn’t employ enough minorities in his staff. This insult naturally extends to Republicans and conservatives at large, who traditionally oppose using diversity quotas to fill their ranks.

There is perhaps nothing more racist than the idea that the only way blacks in America can move forward is with the helping hand of government, and forcing white people to place them on their payroll simply because of their skin color.
