Tucker Carlson did a great segment recently that explored the bizarre, inordinate amount of influence that Google’s chief lobbyist Frank Luntz has over the Republican Party. For example, why was Luntz the keynote speaker at a recent GOP conference in Florida? The guy hates Donald Trump, hates conservatives, hates the Republican Party and is an ultraliberal fascist who appears on CNN every day.
A day later, the story got even weirder!
It turns out that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) – the guy in charge of all House Republicans – is Frank Luntz’s roommate! Huh?!
True story. McCarthy lives at Luntz’s place and pays him rent.
Anyway, that spawned this adorable Bosom Buddies meme. There’s just something hilarious about slapping adults’ heads on children’s bodies for this type of meme. Note the dueling Time Magazine covers on each side of the room, as McCarthy and Luntz pose in their jammies. (Nice touch.)
Mystery solved. Now you know why Frank Luntz has such huge influence over a political party that he hates with every fiber of his being.
