John Oliver’s Producer Has Completely Lost His Mind

It’s one thing for President Trump’s critics to be upset with the fact that he is in office. If anything, they probably have a better understanding of how conservatives felt for almost a decade prior.

But what you’re seeing in this tweet takes this disapproval to a new level, and probably borders on child abuse in one way or another.

According to Matt Passet, who works as a producer for John Oliver’s HBO gig Last Week Tonight, is apparently lying to his young child about who the President of the United States is.

Naturally, this virulent display of virtue signaling was met with cringeworthy praise from the program’s devoted following. Apparently, lying to your child to protect your own political sensibilities is now an acceptable part of parenting.

But, let’s take this apart for a second and pretend President Trump is truly the horrible fascist dictator John Oliver’s ilk likes to think he is. Wouldn’t that demand more awareness and understanding, rather than less? Does the Jewish community deny the Holocaust and the rise of the Nazis? Of course not.

There is simply no logical explanation for this behavior.
