Is Joe Biden’s Doom Sealed by the Supply Chain Crisis He’s Causing?

The nickname “Empty Shelves Joe” is trending on Twitter these days, but we prefer “Bare Shelves Biden.” It has a better ring to it. This meme, incorporating bare shelves into a Biden logo, is a fantastic way to encapsulate this disaster that we’re watching unfold in real time.

In the early days of the pandemic, when the country tried that idiotic, “Hey, let’s shut our economy down and see if that helps” stunt, Americans watched as supplies of toilet paper and a couple of other things ran low. But this deal with the container ships is getting spooky to watch.

While we’ve heard a lot of excuses for why container ships are backed up, none of those excuses make sense. It looks a lot like there’s a deliberate political component to it.

For example, why are the ports open and running just fine in Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas? Those states currently have Republican governors. But in Democrat-run states like California, Oregon, Washington, New Jersey, New York and Virginia… the ports are backed up. If this is really a problem with the “global supply chain” like they’re telling us, why are Republican states immune to it?
