Perhaps the harshest charge against Republicans and conservative Americans coming from the left right now is that the right wing simply doesn’t care about defending the lives of children.
As the image on the left cleverly points out, there are two major ironic parts about this argument: namely the left’s firm defense for abortion as well as importing as many refugees into the country as humanly possible.
Taking this talking point at face value, and it seems like the only people liberals don’t want to see protected from harm are actual American children.

Make no mistake: the reason why the left is so adamant in its defense for immigrants regardless of their legal status is that they are reliable supporters for the Democratic Party. With a disproportionate amount of immigrants being reliant on government assistance programs, and making those programs more generous being a large part of the Democratic Party’s platform, foreign nationals are often the key for leftist electoral victories.
