President Donald Trump is officially in the process of scheduling an unprecedented meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un, and liberals couldn’t be more upset over it.
Just last year, Democratic leaders lamented over the fact that Trump addressed the Hermit Kingdom using strong language and overt threats – nevermind the fact that the rogue nation routinely conducts illegal missile tests and threatens America’s allies.
Now, after several rounds of sanctions and hawkish posturing, the Kim regime is actually open to peace talks with the United States. Apparently, Trump’s tough tone can actually yield results.
If Trump is able to add a denuclearized North Korea to his list of accomplishments as president, his second term is all but assured. Of course, his critics were semi-hoping for a full-on altercation between the two nations, merely to support their idea that Trump is a lose cannon who cannot be trusted to govern in the foreign policy sphere.
