Governed by P*rn Stars? Woke Policies Hit a New Low

Washington state is outdoing itself in the woke madness Olympics—but even the local leftists are starting to second-guess their latest move.

In a bizarre turn of events, the Lynnwood City Council appointed Jessica Roberts to fill a vacant seat—only to find out later that their newest government official is a self-described “bisexual transwoman” who ran an OnlyFans account. Now, just days after celebrating the appointment, they’re scrambling to undo it.

Of course, this raises a few questions: How did this happen? Why didn’t the council vet Roberts before the appointment? And more importantly—why is this even a debate?

The city council originally rubber-stamped Roberts’ appointment, seemingly without bothering to check whether their candidate was, you know, actually qualified for public office.

Then, the backlash began. Residents started recognizing Roberts from OnlyFans, where the account’s bio reportedly contained graphic details about “her” body parts. Suddenly, the woke council was facing actual accountability—and they didn’t like it one bit.

Now, council members are tripping over themselves trying to explain why they put a porn creator in public office without basic due diligence.

City Councilor Derica Escamilla admitted she had “calls into the city clerk” to figure out how this appointment happened, while Councilor Patrick Decker said he was unaware of Roberts’ personal life, but didn’t believe it reflected “the gravity and seriousness” of public service.

Ya think?

The city council is rushing to hold a special meeting Thursday night, where they’ll review Roberts’ qualifications (something they should have done before the appointment) and decide whether to rescind the decision.

According to the city’s posted agenda, the meeting will include:

✔️ Evaluating whether Roberts is fit for office
✔️ Considering rescinding the appointment
✔️ Discussing next steps

Translation: Trying to undo their latest woke disaster before it becomes a national embarrassment.

But here’s the real issue—why was this even possible in the first place?

Would a conservative with an OnlyFans account or a controversial background have ever been appointed without scrutiny? Not a chance. The left loves lowering the bar for their own activists, then pretending to be shocked when it blows up in their face.

This debacle isn’t just about one bad appointment—it’s about how far gone the Democratic Party has become. The radical left prioritizes virtue signaling over competence, and this is what it gets you:

Government by social media influencers
Zero accountability until the public gets involved
A city council that can’t even properly vet its own appointees

And now, the people of Lynnwood have to deal with the embarrassment.

If this mess doesn’t wake up Washington voters, nothing will.
