The woke leadership at Goodyear Tires has decided to pour gasoline all over the company and set it on fire, apparently. How else do you explain the recent antics by the company?
Goodyear has banned its employees from wearing MAGA hats, gear that says, “All Lives Matter,” gear that says, “Blue Lives Matter” or any other “political materials.” But employees are allowed and encouraged to support Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ causes (because those are not political?).
Yikes!
The backlash has been furious, with even President Trump calling for a boycott of Goodyear. They really didn’t think this one through before deciding to poke the hornet’s nest.
Even their own employees are probably disgusted with Goodyear’s management over this. Think of all the blue-collar guys and gals who work for Goodyear and change tires on vehicles for a living. Probably not a huge amount of support for BLM in that crowd.
Goodyear even has contracts to supply tires to police departments. But guess what police departments are going to do now that Goodyear has basically called the police a racist institution?
Simply amazing, and amazingly dumb. Get woke, go broke.
