Fact Check: Pfizer is the 6th Most Owned Stock by Members of Congress

This meme is 99% true. We checked. Sure enough, 48 Members of Congress have made major investments in drug-maker Pfizer since the start of the coronavirus insanity. Everything starts to make sense now, doesn’t it?

We do have one correction to make in regard to this meme, however. Pfizer is no longer the 6th most owned stock by Members of Congress. It’s now the 5th most owned stock by Members of Congress. Maybe some more of the crooks invested after this meme was made?

According to Open Secrets, the minimum congressional investment in Pfizer stocks as of this year is about $2.6 million, with the maximum investment at a cool $8.3 million. It must be nice to have that much cash to throw at stocks when you have insider trading knowledge, huh? Especially since the CEO of Pfizer announced today that he expects everyone to get a COVID shot every single year for the rest of their lives.

It’s truly amazing how popular a product can become when the government threatens everyone who doesn’t want it…

Another fact that’s not included in this meme: Clot-shot maker Johnson & Johnson is the 8th most owned stock by members of Congress, with investments ranging from $2.6 to $5.1 million. What a bunch of creeps!
