Everything is William Barr’s Fault Now, Apparently

Frustrated that they didn’t get what they wanted from Robert Mueller’s report, Democrats in Congress are moving to impeach Attorney General William Barr.

Barr’s crime? Apparently, his mischaracterized the “context” and “mood” of the Mueller report when he issued his first summary of it to Congress. Of course, Barr went on to release the report in full for Congress to read, but even that wasn’t enough. Democrats are now accusing the AG of protecting the president from an obstruction of justice charge, even though the report makes it clear that Mueller recommended no charges at all — or any indictments.

Democrats are angry that, in his summary, he underplayed how Mueller’s team felt about the whole thing. Basically, they’re upset that Barr didn’t come out and talk about how President Trump is a mean person — which isn’t a crime. To say that this is a bit outside of the AG’s job description is an understatement.

So, William Barr is a total hack, according to Democrats. This is much worse than an attorney general covering for a partisan candidate, referring to himself as the president’s “wingman”, or something like that — which actually happened.
