Every Gun Control Argument is Moot in 2022

Truer words were never memed than these: “Your gun control argument is invalid.” This is the homemade shotgun that the assassin of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe used. Immediately after Abe’s death, the Biden administration started bizarrely calling for more gun control in the United States. Huh?

Gun control is absolutely moot. It’s null and void and pointless in 2022. This guy made a homemade shotgun in Japan because Japan has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world. Very few people in Japan own firearms.

Yet this guy was able to make a homemade shotgun and ammunition for it, and then assassinate a world leader who was surrounded by armed protection. Taking guns away from people didn’t “solve gun violence” in Japan any more than it would solve gun violence here in the US.

3D printing has also nullified every argument in favor of gun control. Plans for people to print their own firearms at home are all over torrent sites on the internet. In other words, the genie is out of the bottle and it’s never going back in. The only solution at this point is more gun freedom, not more gun control.
