Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is one of the most effective freshman lawmakers we’ve seen in Congress in a long time. This isn’t because she has any legislative accomplishments, but because she tells the truth and absolutely refuses to be silenced by the Democrats.
Her ongoing feud with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is becoming the stuff of legend. The Democrats already took the unprecedented step of stripping Greene of her committee assignments in the House.
Since that didn’t work to shut her up, Cortez and Nancy Pelosi are trying to get a restraining order against Greene. And it’s not even for something recent!
Back in 2019, Greene tried to get a meeting with AOC, but the New York congresswoman and her entire staff ran into her office and locked the door. You can find the hilarious clip online of Greene politely calling through AOC’s mail slot that she should “take off your diaper and come out!”
And that’s… worth attempting to get a restraining order against a member of Congress? Apparently it is when that member is the Notorious MTG!
