DeSantis Targets State Colleges For Being Anti-White

The team of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis wants to know how much money is being spent at public universities on “diversity, equity,  inclusion,” and “critical race theory.”

In a memo dated December 28 and sent to the State University System of Florida chancellor Raymond Rodrigues and Florida education commissioner Manny Diaz, the Office of Policy and Budget director Chris Spencer requested the data.

The memo notes that “it’s crucial to fully comprehend the operational costs of state institutions as the Executive Office of the Governor prepares policy and budget plans prior to the 2023 Legislative Session.” According to the message, “this letter is a request for data from the Education Department and the State University System about the spending of public resources on initiatives and programs related to diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as critical race theory inside of our state universities and colleges.”

The letter states that “each school in the Florida College System and State University System shall complete the attached form to provide a thorough description of all staff, programs, and campus activities pertaining to equity diversity, and inclusion, and critical race theory.”

The DeSantis admin. is interested in knowing how much money was allocated to each program and how much of that money came from the state.

The message requests that “comments be gathered and submitted by all institutions by Friday, Jan. 13, 2023.”

In the state’s 2022 gubernatorial election, DeSantis, who has been in office since early 2019, won reelection. On Tuesday, he took the oath of office for a second term. “Never will we give in to the woke rabble. Where the woke goes to die is in Florida.” During statements made after being sworn in, DeSantis remarked.

DeSantis has not declared his intention to run for president, but many people believe he has the ability to do so in the future.
