There are a lot of Democrats vying for power right now, as each media cycle is filled with progressive senators doing everything they can to rally up their base. This can only mean one thing — the primary season in 2020 is going to be amazing.
Senators Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, and Bernie Sanders may be acting like best friends now, but they will be at each other’s throats when they all officially start running for president a little over a year from now. Suddenly, this progressive alliance will devolve into a free-for-all — a battle over who can virtue signal the hardest.
We almost wish we had a time machine just so we can see the juicy memes that will come out of it. For now, the image on the left captures the situation perfectly.
All of the senators we’ve mentioned have definitely made a name for themselves — by being ridiculous. None of them — not the fake Native American, the self-proclaimed “Spartacus”, or anyone else — have a real record to run on other than “I’m not Donald Trump.”
Hilariously, the only person we can see having even a small shot at winning in 2020 is Hillary Clinton. That “small shot” is pretty generous.
