Defunding the Police Sure Turned Out to be Expensive

Here’s a meme that tells the hilarious six-month story of Minneapolis’ journey to defund the police. Just follow the arrows through headlines of various mainstream media newspapers until you get to the end.

What a tragedy 2020 has been for many of America’s prettiest cities. The liberal politicians let the mobs run wild and burn things down. People fled in droves for red states to escape the chaos. And then the bums in charge who had caused many of the problems blamed the police and called them racists. Minneapolis, where George Floyd died of a drug overdose over Memorial Day Weekend, got it the worst out of many of these cities.

The city council defunded the police, and most of the remaining cops simply retreated to the donut shop. Why do your job when doing said job could result in losing your career?

The Minneapolis City Council was then stunned to learn that crime, including car jackings and mass homicide, was skyrocketing. And now they’re spending millions of dollars to try to recruit police officers to take back the city.

Raise your hand if you didn’t see that one coming!
