Dear Liberals: THIS is Why We Won’t Pay for Your Healthcare

Despite repeated attempts to overhaul the system, America remains the only western country with market-based healthcare — and that’s exactly how it should stay.

Interestingly, the progressive left uses this same argument to push the idea that America has somehow fallen behind the rest of the developed world. These are the same people who like to bash America and its citizens on a constant basis, with the country’s reputation for generous clothing sizes being a recurring theme. Absolutely no one in this camp understands that they’re basically making the argument for us.

By socializing healthcare, you’re effectively setting the precedent that you are responsible for another person’s finances — as well as their own physical health. As the picture above demonstrates, this creates a problem. Obviously, not everyone takes care of themselves. Seeing as some people need a bit more healthcare than others — often as a result of their own lifestyle choices — to suggest that this is a bit unfair is an understatement.

America is a place where people are free to live their lives as they see fit — provided that they are willing to deal with the consequences. Socializing healthcare eliminates this freedom.
