Reports that twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is eyeing yet another run at the White House have drawn substantial reactions from people of all political stripes.
While many establishment-minded Democrats seem to accept it as the only possibility in the absence of a Joe Biden candidacy, progressive activists are rightfully furious. After all, the bitter memories of how the Clinton camp treated their hero Senator Bernie Sanders are still fresh. Republicans, on the other hand, couldn’t be happier.
Think about it: how hilarious would a rematch between President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton be? Sure, Clinton might remember that people in Iowa actually matter this time, but at this point it’s impossible to believe that the end-result would be any different than it was in 2016.
Hillary Clinton didn’t only lose because of her sub-standard campaign strategy. She could have delivered as many speeches as she wanted to. It wouldn’t matter. Her globalist policies were unpopular then, and they will be just as unpopular if she has to run against a man who has presided over one of the strongest economies in American history.
We think we can speak for President Trump and every other Republican when we say this: bring it on, Hillary.
