The problem with Bernie’s push for free college is the same as all of his other promises: nothing is free. By re-organizing college into what will essentially be a big government program, Americans will find themselves simply footing the bill in the form of taxes rather than tuition.
This is why people living in Canada, Denmark, France, Sweden, and all of the other alleged socialist utopias have some of the highest individual tax rates in the world.
The only inaccuracy with the meme is that the price here is shown to be staying the same, instead of surging dramatically.
