Conservatives Demand New Bills To Fight Globalism

According to information obtained by Breitbart News, House conservatives encouraged the House Foreign Affairs Committee to consider two proposals that would defund and depart from the World Health Organization (W.H.O.).

Both the WHO Withdrawal Act along with the No Taxpayer Funding for the World Health Organization Act have 42 and 40 sponsors, respectively.

The House Foreign Affairs body has been tasked with considering both proposals, but the body has not yet taken any action.

Biggs stated to Breitbart News that the W.H.O. should not be given additional power since it “issued ineffective medical recommendations” throughout the coronavirus outbreak. He said, “Elected authorities here in America should make public health choices, rather than executives from a global body in Geneva, Switzerland. An agency that has been compromised by communist China and has consistently delivered bad health advice during the COVID worldwide emergency cannot be given further power by the Biden Administration. I appreciate Congressmen Roy and Norman’s support of my letter and hold out hope that our measure will be advanced by the House Foreign Affairs Committee.”

In its letter to McCaul and Meeks, the House conservatives said that their constituents worry that the WHO lacks accountability:

“Every day, we get complaints from people who fear that the WHO engagement of the Biden Administration will lead to additional mandates and lockdowns in the future, with no responsibility for the CCP.”

“President Donald Trump acted to stop U.S. funding after seeing the harm the WHO represented. President Biden overturned this choice, and the WHO now receives more than $700 million in US financing as a result.”

“We have introduced bills to preserve Americans’ rights by withdrawing from the WHO and stopping government funding to the organization, H.R. 79, the WHO Withdrawal Act, alongside H.R. 343, the No Taxpayer Funding for the World Health Organization Act. The chance to collaborate with the Committee on more strategies to cut the United States’ ties to the WHO would be welcomed.”

  1. The WHO is yet another Democrat supported group intent on America’s destruction. It must be put out of our misery!
