CNN is Set to Repeat History as Ratings Plummet

CNN, the so-called “most trusted name in news”, saw its ratings crash again this week, and posts like this make it pretty clear why that’s happening.

In 2016, the idea that there would even be a President Donald Trump was laughably ridiculous for outlets like CNN. He was initially dismissed as a joke candidate who had no chance of even making it past the primary. But when Trump’s crowds started getting bigger and bigger, and more Republican rivals dropped out of the race, it was clear CNN severely underestimated Trump and how his message resonated with the American people.

Even then, however, CNN and other leftist networks were sure that Hillary Clinton was still the safe bet. Trump may have won the primary, but that’s only because he was supported by a bunch of uneducated buffoons, right? This was the logic these media gatekeepers ran with.

We all remember how this turned out. But in case we ever forget, we can just check to see what CNN is doing right now, because it’s exactly the same thing.
