It’s about time someone in Washington had the backbone to ask the hard questions. This week, a House Oversight subcommittee took a major step toward accountability by voting to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton over their alleged ties to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his longtime associate, Ghislaine Maxwell. That’s not a headline from 2019 or a conspiracy theory tucked in a Reddit thread—it’s happening now, in 2025, under a Republican majority that finally seems willing to go where Democrats refused.

The motion to issue subpoenas came from Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) during a Federal Law Enforcement Subcommittee hearing. It passed by voice vote—no roll call needed. The message was clear: enough is enough. The Clintons have skated by for decades, dodging scrutiny with the help of a complicit media and a weaponized justice system. But the tide is turning.

Let’s be crystal clear on the facts. Bill Clinton admitted in his own 2024 memoir *Citizen: My Life After the White House* that he flew on Epstein’s private plane, the so-called “Lolita Express.” He claimed it was part of his work with the Clinton Global Initiative—because apparently, international philanthropy requires hopping aboard a jet owned by a convicted sex offender. Clinton’s own words—”I wish I had never met him”—aren’t a denial. They’re damage control. A man who flew on Epstein’s plane multiple times and welcomed him to the White House on at least 17 occasions doesn’t get to play dumb.

This isn’t just about the Clintons. The list of individuals Rep. Perry wants subpoenaed includes some of the most powerful former officials in American law enforcement—James Comey, Robert Mueller, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, Bill Barr, Jeff Sessions, and Alberto Gonzales. Republicans are demanding answers about what these top officials knew, when they knew it, and why Epstein’s empire of exploitation was allowed to operate for so long.

This isn’t political theater. It’s about truth and justice. Epstein didn’t run a solo operation. He had enablers. He had protectors. And he had powerful friends. Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted in 2021 of sex trafficking minors, conspiracy, and transporting girls for illegal sexual activity. She’s serving 20 years—but the network that supported her and Epstein hasn’t been dismantled. Why not?

The Department of Justice, now under new leadership, seems to be moving in the right direction. Just this week, the DOJ filed a motion to unseal grand jury testimonies related to Epstein’s indictment. According to court documents, the Attorney General has directed the department to “release grand jury transcripts.” That’s a major development, and it sends a direct signal: the cover-up is over.

But let’s not pretend this will be easy. The Clintons have allies in the press, in academia, and yes, still in parts of the bureaucracy. They’ve made a career out of scandal management. From Whitewater to Benghazi to the Clinton Foundation’s shady foreign donations, they know how to muddy the waters. But this time, the facts are staring us in the face. This time, Republicans aren’t blinking.

Chairman James Comer (R-KY), who now has the authority to formally issue these subpoenas, must follow through. The American people deserve transparency. For too long, we’ve watched the elites operate under a separate set of rules. One for them, another for the rest of us. That ends now.

This investigation isn’t about relitigating the past. It’s about protecting the future. If the most powerful people in the country can associate with a predator like Epstein and face zero accountability, what message does that send? It tells every victim that justice is optional. It tells every predator that connections are a get-out-of-jail-free card.

We cannot allow that to stand.

It’s simple: if the Clintons have nothing to hide, they should welcome the chance to clear their names under oath. If their defenders believe in the rule of law, they should support the subpoenas. And if Democrats want to convince America they care about victims, they should stop obstructing the truth.

It’s time to pull back the curtain. The American people are ready. Let the subpoenas fly.
