China Is Using Brain-Altering Technology On Americans

On Fox Business Utah Governor Spencer Cox (R) addressed his decision to ban TikTok on govt. devices and asserted that one problem with TikTok is the huge difference seen between version of the app in China and the version of the app in the U.S. and also the American version is “not going to help anybody at all. It’s simply making us dumber and poorer.”

“One, we know, and Director Wray from the Bureau has spoken about it, we realize that China is accessing our data, that the Chinese Communist Party is accessing this information and the proprietary information — the personal information of US residents, and that should be troublesome for everyone,” Cox added. “The second component is just the algorithm and the dangers of social media in general, but particularly TikTok. We recognize that the Chinese version of TikTok is significantly different from the American form of TikTok, and that it has the potential to be beneficial in the lives of our youth, but the way it is being used in Utah and the U.S. is not. It’s simply making us dumber and poorer.”
