Can you remember the good old days when celebrities used to be able to simply perform, collect their little awards, and keep their mouths shut about politics? Those were good times. But nowadays, you can’t turn on the TV or the radio without some incredibly wealthy drama queen lecturing us about how deplorable we are if we have a different opinion than they do.
Noted political expert Bruce Springsteen is now threatening to move to Australia if President Trump wins reelection. You may remember Springsteen’s spot-on prediction back in 2016 that if Donald Trump won, all of the mosques in America would be burned to the ground by roving gangs of racists in MAGA hats. (That one didn’t age well.)
It’s nothing new by now to have liberal celebrities talking about moving to another country if the Republican candidate wins the presidency. It’s too bad that all they do is talk about it.
Why can’t they ever follow through on their threats and actually move to Europe or Australia after the conservative wins? It’s also kind of funny that they never threaten to move to Mexico for some reason.
