Broward County Cops are Getting Absolutely Roasted Online

Until very recently, virtually all of the discussions revolving around the Parkland, Florida shooting which concluded with the deaths of 17 students has had to do with gun control.

This narrative completely changed when it was revealed that an armed school resource officer stood outside of the building while the shooting was taking place — knowing full well that students and faculty were at risk of losing their lives.

As it turns out, the problems with the Broward County police force run far deeper than one incompetent officer. The school shooter in question, who is currently in custody, was reportedly the subject of upward of 30 complaints to police. Despite this overwhelming red flag, no effort was made to arrest the student or even disarm him.

Clearly, there is a bigger conversation to be had than whether or not the Second Amendment is still valid and valuable. The individual responsible for the horrific acts in Parkland was able to do what he did due to government incompetence — not because Americans have a God-given right to self-preservation.
