Bill Cosby’s Conviction was Overturned — You Know What That Means

You’ve probably heard by now that Bill Cosby’s conviction was overturned and he was released from prison immediately. Naturally, the internet has been awash in brand-new Bill Cosby memes this week as a result.
It’s tough to know how to feel about the Cosby case. His squeaky-clean image as America’s favorite TV dad for decades stands in stark contrast to the charges he faced at trial.

Cosby has maintained his innocence all along — far past the point you would expect someone to. After his trial, which a new judge has just declared unfair, the previous judge offered to reduce Cosby’s sentence to just three years in prison if he would admit his guilt and express remorse to his victim. Otherwise, Cosby would get the full 10-year sentence.

Cosby basically told the judge he’d rather do 10 years’ hard time as an innocent man who had been wrongly accused than 3 years as a liar. That’s… a pretty hard-core insistence that you’re innocent.

Anyway, we’ll probably never know the truth of what really happened between Cosby and his alleged victim. The one thing we do know is that there are suddenly a ton of pudding pops memes on the web today.
