After months of rumors about whether the 80-year-old Democrat will run for re-election, President Joe Biden is allegedly getting ready to announce a 2024 campaign.
Biden’s intentions may be made public at some point in the upcoming weeks, according to various sources quoted by The Hill, and a formal announcement may follow in April. Although the story emphasized that the date hinges on an invitation from the speaker of the House to address Congress, other insiders highlighted Feb. as a month to watch, around the time of the State of the Union.
One of Biden’s allies told the news organization, “I believe it is all about timing at this time. He looks very committed. He is running now, not really if he does.”
If Biden decides to run again, he might face former President Donald Trump in a general election rematch after Trump declared his intention to run again in November.
Although Biden stated during a news conference about a year ago that he was committed to having Kamala Harris serve as his running mate in 2024 should he seek reelection, she was not mentioned in the story.
According to The Washington Post, Biden’s team of advisers has already started developing a plan for a potential 2024 campaign, which includes ideas to increase his exposure to supporters on social media sites like WhatsApp and TikTok.
A unusual joint appearance by Biden and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to promote the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill that the president signed into law last year marked the beginning of 2023. According to FiveThirtyEight, Biden’s approval rating on Friday was 43.5%, the best it had been in a year.
In spite of this, Biden will confront several challenges in the next two years of his term, including an economy that has had trouble with inflation. On Sunday, he traveled to the border with Mexico despite opposition from both Democrats and Republicans to his immigration policy. With the Republicans obtaining control of the House, a number of investigations into Hunter Biden’s international business dealings are about to take center stage.
Additionally, worries about Biden’s age and mental capacity have followed him since his 2020 candidacy, even from members of his own party. Biden is already the oldest president we have had.
Former Obama adviser David Axelrod was quoted by The New York Times as stating last summer that the president’s age would become a “big issue” and that Biden would be closer to 90 than 80 by the time he would conclude a potential second term.

How could someone so corrupt. Everything he does is illegal. He’s stealing all kinds of our money an giving it to terrorism.countries. He should be in prison.anhispals…an more.
The continued charade that Biden is a valid President and should be ready-elected is a conspiracy by the unelectable Democrat crybaby cowards and losers that will always be losers due to their total worthlessness in achieving anything worth while and positive. Their lives are an unbroken record of failure, immorality, worthlessness, lying, cheating, and are good for only one beneficial function – moving targets for marksmanship practice. And the sooner said usage is legalized, our country will be much better off!
Den – no one is stopping him because “they” are corrupt themselves. The whole administration is f’kaked. Even those who see what happening don’t have the baytzim to speak up. Let’s see how strong the new House is now. Maybe off to a good start?
