The news coming out of Uvalde, Texas just keeps getting worse and worse as we learn more about what a failure the cops were. The memes are just not letting up, either, like this one. The cops are stunning and brave in their tactical gear to bust some unarmed pothead; but when there’s an active school shooting, they pretty much stand around eating donuts while kids are murdered.
We now know that the Uvalde cops were inside the school within 3 minutes of the shooter. They had tactical rifles and ballistic shields. The door to the classroom where the shooter was murdering kids and teachers was unlocked.
And the cops waited 57 minutes to go after the bad guy.
One police officer was called by his wife – a teacher – as she was bleeding to death. He tried to go in and save her, and the other cops stopped him and disarmed him. Pathetic. Disgusting. Limp wristed.
That’s just pure cowardice on the part of the police. If little kids are being shot in a classroom and you have a gun, it’s time to go have a gunfight, whether you’re a police officer, a parent, or a random passerby. Period.
Couldn’t have said that any better. Some cops are just plain bullies and only go after people that won’t resist. When you take the oath to defend, your expected to do just that.DEFEND!
What’s even worse than what is being said in this article. It took an of duty border patrol officer to leave the barber chair, grab the barber’s shot gun and kill the shooter. We need to applaud the border patrol agent with his heroism and throw the police under the bus for standing around with a finger up their a$$e$.
If I were the officer who was stopped by other officers from saving my wife I don’t believe the other “officers” would be walking around now.
they sound like the cops in our town. a neighbor tried to kill us with his dogs.. they did nothing.. but, a kid runs over our mailbox and they are all over it.. police reports.. measuring the skid marks.. tickets for the kid and the parents.. it even made the papers.. but my boyfriend ends up in the emergency room and nothing.
Everybody knows stoners are a blemish on society and should be bludgeoned by the PO PO every chance they get.
