ABC Under Fire For Breaking Its Own Rules!

ABC News broke the rules when they let Vice President Kamala Harris talk over former President Donald Trump while he was answering a question about abortion at the presidential debate on Tuesday night.

Trump first stated his view, saying that since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in the summer of 2022, the matter is now back with the states for the people to decide.

If she won the election and Congress passed the bill, Harris promised to make Roe v. Wade a federal law again.

Harris made her case, and Trump listened with care.

Harris then said Trump would sign a law that would ban abortions across the country.

“There she goes again,” Trump replied. “It’s not true. Personally, I’m not going to sign a ban because we already got what everyone wanted.”

Harris didn’t say if she would back any limits on abortion; all she said was that she supports “the rights” of Roe v. Wade.

Once Harris said yes, Trump asked the presenter to ask her if she agreed with abortions after the seventh month of pregnancy.

After Trump’s answer, she said, “Come on,” and kept talking.

The candidates decided that the mics would be turned off while the other competitor spoke.

On social media, people talked about it.

“Why is only Trump’s mic off? People are noticing,” one wrote.

“Why isn’t Kamala’s mic muffled and are you letting her talk over Trump while he’s speaking?!?” asked someone else. “Not a surprise.”

The presenters spent a lot of time talking about abortion, which is an issue where Harris is more popular than Trump. This made it seem like the network was trying to help her.
